We are pleased Ted is now allowed to have a very small amount to drink. He is still crying about his thirst which is very sad indeed.
They were able to remove his pacing wires and the left atrial line as well.
While he is severely fluid restricted he is allowed to eat. He doesn’t want to eat yet so we will wait and see.

It’s so nice to see the wires and tubes being removed! Hoping it makes him feel slightly more comfortable. Hoping he can have more liquids soon xx

Unfortunately the (painful) drains will stay in for a long time but at least we made some progress. He is very miserable.

Sweet boy. I don’t believe anything can prepare them or their parents for the torture of fluid restrictions. Hopefully he is receiving enough pain relief that most of this will be forgotten by Ted even though it can never be forgotten by you and Rich. May he have a good day of healing today. Xxx

What a precious little boy. Teddy is amazing. Our thoughts are with Teddy and we wish him a restful and speedy recovery.
